Okay, so I’m trying to update the woefully outdated programs on my sisters iMac.
Except since she never installs anything, she forgot the admin password (which I need to install StuffIt, which I need to install everything else). Anyway I can get it back?
Have fun with this one. This is essentially the same thing as hacking your own Mac. I’m not sure, but Mac might have some sort of default admin account with a preset password. Contact apple support ( www.apple.com )
Too bad it ain’t windows; i’m pro at getting passwords on <i>that</i> OS. 
And i can’t think of anyone who hacks mac…so, sorry. =\
I saw in windows its really easy, but at a cost, you just delete everything on the acct thats not shared/preinstalled.
