Anyone else remember when men were men, women were women and giant robots were fucking awesome?
Yeah. This was basically inspired by Maz, Sal and I discussing what ruled, to which the general consensus was Optimus Prime is the greatest hero ever, hands down. We knew that already but yeah

When I was younger, I used to watch TMNT and Transformers. They were cool.
What else do I remember watching? Oh yeah, Scooby Doo. That is all i can think of, off the top of my head.

I’ve watched the old Scooby Doo more recently. I enjoyed it because it had just the right kind of contrived badness. 
Jiraya and Black Kamen Raider. They roroxed.
TMNT, Captain N, Super Mario Bros. Super Show, old Power Rangers, LOTS of Tiny Toon Adventures, Dog City (great cartoon about a muppet dog that animates a detective TV show featuring a dog), and my personal favourite… C.O.P.S, the cartoon about “fighting crime in the future time!”. That show ruled so much, especially with all the cool powers that the cops had, like Longarm and his long-range handcuff!

Gargoyles, TMNT, She-ra, He-man, My Little Pony, Ronin Warriors, Highlander (animated), Tecknoman, Punky Brewster, Knight Rider, Airwolf… they had the coolest shows when I was little. ^^

From what I can remember, I watched Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain N and Bionic Six. When I was very young, I was afraid of cartoons and I watched Marty Stouffer’s Wild America, a nature programme, along with Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers.

Heman, Thundercats, TMNT, Captain N, all the Mario shows, Legend of Zelda, Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, some show with an elephant and the people and it went to places and the elephant was a person in a suit, Ghostbusters, and I think that’s it.
I think it’s called Sharon, Lois and Bram’s Elephant Show. Reminds me of these other kids shows that were on here, like Polkaroo (don’t ask), Fred Penner’s Place, Mr. Dressup, and The Friendly Giant. I watched those when I was REALLY young. 8)

It’s called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in Europe, because “ninja” was a bad word, or so I’ve heard.
It was Ninja once, they renamed it for the new series.
