Now, now my deal Nul… The purple-eyed moster is getting the better of you. I actually got them both as gifts. I got my PS2 for taking care of our new puppy. The Cube, I got for X-mas. I don’t have that many games though:
Might even compel me to buy one… And as for GameCube… I bought mine, with two controllers, a memory card, and two games (SSBM and Metroid Prime) for $118 dollars.

get a freeloader, and import the US versions, anything you import from the UK is still going to have a VAT tacked onto the price… plus youll have to pay import taxes on it…
I don’t pay import taxes on imports from the United Kingdom, and the Euro VAT is removed and replaced with the Norwegian VAT upon customs. Also, if the product costs less than 200 Norwegian Kronia, there is no VAT at all.
As for importing from the United States. The freight costs more and takes more time, and there is nothing to stop them from adding import taxes on imports from the United States: Unless the United States became members of the European Union all of a sudden. Norway has a trade agreement with them. And the VAT would be added in any case.
Trade agreements are nice.
Only advantage would be that the exchange rate for the dollar is lower than it is for the pound.
And the price drop thing actually happened once in Norway. Microsoft dropped the price of the X-Box just a couple of days after it was first released.
A pretty bad idea really, since it ended with them giving an extra controller and two games to each and every X-Box they sold before the price reduction.
