– I’ve decided to lower the spam-block (the time it takes before you’re able to post again) from 80 seconds down to 75 seconds. Hopefully that will do a good job of solving the inconvenienced but not helping the spammers amongst you :stuck_out_tongue:

– In order to have a custom avatar you now need 10 posts instead of 5.

– I’ve cleaned up all my NOTICE threads and started a new system of logging the old ones on the MB Help and Testing Forum. It’s just like cleaning up my room only without the aid of a mouse.

I also disabled a setting that was allegedly saving bandwidth at the cost of load-speed since we don’t really need that anymore on our beast of a server. Then again, I’m not sure if the option was doing anything to begin with (there may not be something installed server-wise that would make it effectual) so you may notice no change at all in that regard :stuck_out_tongue:

I notice that the total number of pages in a thread are being listed now, instead of just the old “…last page” thingy after it passes five pages. Is that it?

that was something else I did. If people don’t like it I can turn it off, but country asked for it.

I like it it makes it easier to get to a certain page.

The reduction of the flood control seems little more than a token gesture to me, but I guess it’s better than nothing :slight_smile: The other updates rock, though :slight_smile:
