This is badass.
I give this video a 9.9, only because they pronounced Mario wrong, and by wrong, I mean the un-American way.
That gets a 10 from me, mainly because they finish the the Final Fantasy fanfare.
I’ll watch the thing in full when I get more time to, but the sax player missed some notes on the Zelda 'Dungeon" theme. Bad marks, old bean. : |
Very nice. It kind of makes me want to try and find someone who plays sax so we can jam down.
Best part was the use of FF2’s footage instead of the usual FF1 footage.
Otherwise, I didn’t really care for the Punch Out sound effects, and SMB3 just didn’t really sound right with Sax due to the tempo of the music. Additionally they may have used too much Sax on Zelda since there were a couple of missed notes again due to the tempo.
Also no Zelda 2 or MegaMan 3 (the opening of this is made for Jazz) pieces? I guess I’ll just have to wait for the next album then.
