Ninja FUCKING Gaiden Black

Not a sequel to Ninja Gaiden, but a collection of NG, it’s two Hurricane Packs (downloadable content from Xbox Live), and some other random extras, to be re-released at budget prices. I am seriously considering selling my PS2 and getting an Xbox, just to play this.

I have the original. Never finished it, but definately worth it. After Halo 2’s dissappointments (which grew to be amended by the multiplayer, in its defense), I was growing to be dissappointed with the xbox, but NG really made me think otherwise.

What are the ‘random extras’?

Also, is Xbox360 going to have backwards compatability or what? I read somewhere that its selective backwards compatability, and such a big title would most likely be included in the list if this is the case. If so, I’d consider holding out for that, like how I held out for the PS2 for Chrono Cross (which I was looking forward to at the time).

I’ve heard conflicting reports. Some have said it will have backwards compatability, others say selective Xbox compatability, others say none at all. In trying to research this tonight, I’ve found a 1up article that has pretty detailed specs on the 360, and that IGN thinks that the Xbox 360 is somewhere around eleventy-billion times more powerful than the PS3. Keep in mind that IGN publishes both Official Xbox Magazine and PSM, both of which have said that Gamecube owners are nothing but children, and each of which has said at one point or another that owners of the other magazine’s system are retarded, despite both magazines sharing certain editors. As an owner of all three systems, I find everything IGN has ever done to be completely offensive and insulting.

I lost my trust for IGN so very long ago…

And I make it a POINT not to give too much of a damn about benchmarks, but real performance. I’ll wait until it arrives thankyou. I was just suggesting to Pie, since he apparently doesnt have an Xbox, that it might be more economical if the 360 has support for playing NG.
