Well, I was finally able to get the game (yes, I know I’m a little late). Anyway, it isn’t too bad. I really like the look of it and I like how it is sort of a tribute to the original game. I also like the blend of old and new. The style fo the game is also really cool. The levels are a little dull so far. It is definitely a much better Mario game than Sunshine though and it is pretty much the Mario game I’ve been waiting for since Mario 64.
It’s a great game (I finally finished all of the hidden exits and whatnot), but you’re spot on accurate about the levels being a bit dull. It doesn’t detract from the quality of the game, though.
