Hello, Joey & Gemini !
Yep, I’ve been writing software for many years now and am at the stage of retiring with just this one last project in mind, Scenario RPGMaker. It’s free to all, like good software should be.
Gemini, what do you plan to do with your Java knowledge ?
Can you write Internet door software ?

I am also learning Photoshop. [/b]
If you learn some good JAVA it would be interesting to see if you could write a useful program for me so I can access local files that in turn access remote files off the internet so I can make Scenario an ONLINE event.

Well, I’m well out of college grin and not learning to major in any programming languages. I too am anticipating Christmas, but better yet, my B-Day which is just a few weeks away !
I’ve been trying to find a MIDI keyboard so I can get back into writing music like I did years ago. I had a Commodore Amiga years ago and wrote like 50+ songs then, hadda blast. But IBM-pc showed up, and well, here I am today. The better of the two machines I must say.
You’re in a good position though learning JAVA which is compatible with MANY computer platforms, not just IBM-pc but Macintosh and several others.
Wish I had that kind of patience.
Regarding Photoshop Adobe, I am using Paintshop Pro.
It’s quite a bit easier but maybe not as powerful.

Grah, sorry. I thought your first post would count as spam or something and get closed, so I wanted to post something smart-assed about it.
No offense, bud. [/b]
That’s fine Kagato.
This did seem like the place to post about my lifetime project, and I thought I would meet some interesting people along the way, and it seems I was right. grin

one of the CDs I checked out from the Library.
The library has a wealth of good music in it, you just need to look for it.
Welcome, DW. Nice to see a fellow “oldster” here! :hahaha; Don’t worry, I’ve been here over a year now and everyone treats me like just one of the guys- age doesn’t really matter here. Just don’t take many comments seriously, K? Sometimes the jokes sound a little mean, but they mean nothing by them.
Right now my brain is putty from writing fanfics and analyzing all that Matrix stuff, so I’ll check your stuff later. However, I want to thank you in all our names for sharing your Life’s work with us. You might want to change the thread’s title, thought, since there’s a new RPG Maker game out now, and many might read this thread thinking it is about THAT game.
