New N console in 2005

Dunno if this is old news, but…

Clicka

Sad I probably won’t afford it nor will I most likely have time for it…

I won’t be able to get it. Zeta is poor :frowning:

I suppose I’ll have to wait and see what wealth I have avaiable at that time.

I hate how fast Nintendo replaces consoles.

Hmmm…
Sounds like I’ll ahve to save some money then.
Even if it’s pretty far off, it would be fun to be among the first (I live in in Sweden, so now the whole world just goes “First? Hah!”) to get something for once…

taking the fact that prices keep rising all the time into account, i’ll probably need more money than anyone ever has good reason to keep in order to afford that…

Yeah, the nintendo Nexus. THey have pics of it in the new egm.

best of luck to them.

All video game console manufacturers do this. I believe consoles are usually about 4-5 years apart. By that time, the cutting edge technology crammed into the old system is getting a bit outdated and there is new cutting edge technology to cram into a new system.

Let’s see, this is what, 3 years for the GC? And they replaced the GBA with the GBA SP which will probably be able to play certain games the GBA can’t after only a year.

with the rate new games are being made…more like half a year for SP-only games…

GBA:SP seems more like only a slight improvment in the GBA and I think they just made it to make a boost console sales rather than make a whole new line exclusive for it.

Xelo, the new Nintendo system is planned for 2005. It is easily at least a year away, probably two or more.

I believe the GBA has exactly the same capabilities as the GBA SP. Anything that plays on the GBA SP should play on normal GBA. And even if there is some way for developers to make a game that works on SP and not regular, it would be a stupid thing to do since the regular can do anything the SP can do.

Im a nintendo freak, so ill probably have the money set aside a year early :stuck_out_tongue:

All I have to say is…whatever it is, it damn well better run Cube games.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Yes, it had damn better have backwards compatability. Or I’m gonna kill something.

Go kill Miamoto

‘When we withdraw from the home game console, that’s when we withdraw from the video game business.’

Does that sound like a self-fulfilling prophecy to you?

TD, if you kill something, go kill the Capcom Exec that hasn’t green-lighted another Street Fighter since 1999 where 3rd Strike came out. Of course, wait until after 2004, because they said they’d make something for the Street Fighter 15th anniversary.

I’ll get the Nexus under one of any of these conditions…

  1. They use my idea of a JFT shooter/Ogre Battle tatical game

  2. A New Pilotwings…

  3. A new JFG…

  4. MISCHEIF MAKERS GAME!!!

  5. A Smash Brothers game (most likely to happen anyways…can’t keep a good trend down)
