New Element Discovered

A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. This new element has been tentatively named “Administratium .” Administratium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 111 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by a force called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Administratium has no electrons, it is inert.

However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Administratium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second. Administratium has a normal half-life of 3 years

it does not decay but instead undergoes a reorganization, in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons and assistant deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Administratium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization causes some morons to become neutrons forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to speculate that Administratium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as “Critical Morass.” You will know it when you see it.

(Late april fools!) :mwahaha:

My old chemistry teacher is going to love this if I find some way to translate it while keepping the funny. Very nice :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought you were serious when I saw the thread name.

Where do you come up with these things? :3

Sinistral posted this a while back.

And by “a while back” I do mean a matter of years. Maybe before the great deletion, actually, now that I think about it… so I guess the statute of limitations on repetition has lapsed.

It’s already listed here, along other, more interesting ones:

I heard that before, but I had forgotten about it. Its a good one >.>. I love science humor.

edit: I posted this before? lol!

It is a well know fact that outside of Linus Pauling the great scientist Benett in Dragon Quest 5 , the famous recsearcher of the warp spell, could probably discover new elements if we helped him- i am all for it- let’s help Benett!-

Someone had some free time on their hands…

That is actually quite impressive Zero.

I wonder how many people would think that all of that is real. I bet there would be quite a few.

I thought it was real when I read the title, but as soon as a read “element” name, I knew that is was joke. And a funny one at that!

I wasn’t looking at the thread because the name bored me, I’m glad I finally looked at it, very funny.

Eh… meh… it was pretty clever.
It kinda sucked because I’d hoped there really was a new element, then I started reading :frowning:
