You went from not knowing how to equip armor to level 25 in one week? o_O

I’m a fast learner and have played similar games (Dungeon Hack for one) before. And I guess having Expert longsword skill with a +3 snickersnee doesn’t hurt. I almost lost when the game spawned a blue dragon in a throne room. But he eventually fell before my blade. I’ve given up on #twoweapon, I don’t hit near often enough to safely try raising it past basic. I’m thinking about finding myself a shield and using it to boost my ac, which is currently -3. Maybe I’ll be lucky and it be enchanted when I find it…

A shield is not a good idea, there are other ways of boosting your AC. You really should use #twoweapon, only two classes can become expert in #twoweapon and one is samurais, but if you don’t want to then just use your quest artifact as a weapon. It’s a two handed sword though, so you won’t be able to use a shield.
