Need some help with an image...

I have an image that I need help with. It’s a bitmap, so I can’;t attach it, but I NEED it to remain a bitmap at the moment.
Does anyone have a program that can convert it into a 256 Color bitmap without badly messing up the color or convert it into a PNG whose colors won’t mess up when imported into RPG Maker 2k?

If anyone can do that, post your email adress, or if you prefer, PM it to me and I’ll send you the image.

What do you use? Try paint shop pro, I use 4.0 since it’s simple and I know how to use it.
