If you’ve been in the chat, you’d know that I can finally start a new game since I finished FFX. It was tough since I had a couple of brand new games that I’ve owned for months but never played, lol. I decided to go with Xenogears, which I understand is a great game.

I think the battle system is pretty nifty, and as weird as it sounds, I like being able to jump in the regular screen. The one thing that I’m not a fan of so far is the slow loading times I have when moving to and from menus.

As an aside, am I alone in thinking Dan looks pretty creepy for a kid?

He looks like a demon-infested Carrot Top (the “comedian”) as a child. Except when…

You fight him later on in Disc 1. Then you KNOW Carrot Top can’t do that shit, 'cause Pauly Shore can’t either :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t really know anything about the story except what I’ve seen, so I don’t want to take a chance and ruin it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Heh, I hope you enjoy the game. Personally, I think it’s ok. Waaaaaaaaaay too long for my personal tastes. Amongst many other little things that probly only bug me (battling in gears, very long stretches of dialogue, esp. later in the game, lack of diffuculty, unmemorable music). Anyways, have a blast.
