I’ve just come back from my journey to the Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region. It’s a beautiful place. Hope you will enjoy it with me.

It took me 5 hours before the plane finaly arrived in Urumqi(Wulumuqi), the furthest city in the world from the ocean. It’s a city in the desert and it’s difficult to find a tree in the suburb.

The farthest I’e ever been from U is Egypt, and it was kinda lame. Guns were pointed at us a lot. Where is Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region anyway?

Xinjiang is in the Central Asia,borders Mongolia, CIS Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India .
Here the very point I stand on is the Centre point of Asia.
50 % of the 15 million population here are Uigur.

This is the Flame Moutain.
The son of the legendary Ox-king once lived here, and he was defeated by the legendary Hero Sun Wukong ( whose name sounds “Goku” in Japanese, you can see it in Dragon Ball, right?)
