Well I have played guitar and bass for a while, but of all my ears, my techno ear is largest, and I must pick keyboard, as it can basically, aurally, be substituted for any other instrument ever, though it does not always sound as fluid as the real thing, again, versatility is the key, so for the tiny sacrifice, it is totally worth it. Plus, the first time I visited a cathedral with a working pipe organ, I was able to rock out on it, as I knew how to play the keys, it was a really triumphant moment.
