Hard to disagree with you there. All I hope is that the game has a good length to it, at least 10 hours (time attack mode notwithstanding). Multiple and diverse routes through levels would be nice as well.
I like the fact that this game is white and bright, as opposed to Dead Space, Fallout 3 and most likely L4D and GoW2. >.>
I’m not sure about the good length, though. I can see it becoming repetitive really fast, despite how awesome and polished the game looks. The missions and possible routes would need to be very diversified with a solid storyline. We’ll see how it turns out in a few days, I guess.
I agree about the length and linearity.
The good news at least is from what I’ve seen about the game in videos what is there looks like it’ll be pretty diverse- one ‘descent’ in particular looked frigging incredible, can’t wait to try to pull that off next Friday.
Still in two minds about the sound effects every time you screw a jump up, though.
