Mindless Chatter, really...

At my brother’s old school, they blocked www.rpgclassics.com (IT’S ALIVE! ALIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!). He skipped the main page and came straight here. :stuck_out_tongue:

At my school, we can go where we want now, 'cause the pages aren’t blocked no-more. However, the DOE (Department of Education) monitors our moves on the net, so 'cause of all the talk here, I can’t connect at school. Stupid rules!!

My school computer’s crash all the time. Too much porn, emulators, and roms.

School computers suck! At my previous school (thank god I’m finally outa that hell hole) nearlly every time you logged in the only thing that ever worked was the internet (pretty much nothing else). Sure, this doesn’t sound too bad to begin with, but not when the only site to go on is a goddamn news site. The retarded teachers even blocked educational sites, bunch of assholes. Only decent computer in the whole school could only be used by teachers.
The damn technician was dumb as any of em, took him almost 15 minutes to find out why this kids monitor had a blank screen, turned out it had been disconected. He spent 5 minutes trying to turn the monitor on and off. Honestly, wtf’s he getting paid for?
gasps for air in order to continue…passes out (luckily for everyone else):boring:

That’s just sad. Heh heh.

And now, HILARIOUS TRUE STORIES FROM A FORMER USER OF SCHOOL COMPUTERS!

  1. I tried to update my fics from school. However, I had more trouble than you can believe. First off, sometimes it would delete the entire post because of the word, “fuck”. Sometimes, it cut off half of the page on the thread, making it a nightmare to backtrack. And finally, it tore out whole sections of the site because of light cussing. This is the same system that allowed Something Awful’s Hentai reviews to show (I guess the average school official doesn’t know what “hentai” is).

  2. I had a rom on my Z drive (my small, private part of the server). I had it their for months. Two weeks before school began, it- along with the emulator- was deleted, and the network administrator put a nasty message in there that if I he ever found ROMs on my Z drive again, I’d be banned. This would have actually been worthless if it wasn’t for the fact that my monster finals projects were also stored on that drive, and were too big to transport back home by disk. Amazingly, they knew what a ROM was, but not what Hentai is. Stupid administrators.

  3. I visited with a teacher during my senior year, on my free period. She allowed me to play games on her computer, which is usually frowned on. On the last friday of school, the principal showed up and saw me playing; apparantly the network admin ratted me out. However, he was nice and let it slide. This proves that my former principal was nice, and the network admin was a cold-hearted snake that didn’t understand the need to remove stress prior to graduation.

at our school. our computers worked great. but when my friend john left who was the trusted computer wiz. when he left. the pcs went to hell.

The computers at my school have always sucked, just got off of Windows 3.1 last school year.
And to make things worse, the teacher thats suppose to be the big computer wiz and runs everything…Just retired. :P:hmm:

Stupid teachers…what use are they besides opening and closing their mouths repeatedly for at least an hour each class! :hyperven:

And Kaiser, I became one of you LONG ago…or so I think! :hahaha;
