I just copied that off the Metroid Prime 2 bonus disc. Technically though, the history was set in stone in the original Metroid, and there was a bit more after in Zero Mission.
And Prime 2 was the one that I left the dot in teh middle line lit up for.
I know zero mission was metroid, and I LOVED the gameplay and everything after motherbrain. I honestly wonder though, is part of the reason the Japanese arent big Metroid fans because they seek more out of Samus’ character than “Girl in metal suit with gun arm” like I do?
I know many people probably dont agree with me, one of my best friends is metroidaholic and he hates when I say this… But this is 2004, I’d think games of a franchize this popular should have certain standards, you know? I love the gameplay of metroid but without character development there really isnt as much reason for me to follow Samus’ adventures anymore.
Especially with turning her 3d. There should be some redemption in that by giving her character… but nope, its just a 3d shooter.
