Well, language changes. Old words change meaning or pass out of use and new words come, either to stay or to be forgotten a few years later.
Meh. It’s not like I really consider Merriam-Webster to be an accurate assessment of the english language. Now, if the Oxford English Dictionary says it’s a real word, well… ithen it still doesn;t matter, as they’re just trying to garner attention.

Did anyone else find this absolutely rediculous. It is not more effecient. What happens when you want to actually use the numbers. 1337 is confusing, but it is how I remember the year the 100 years war was started.
