Memorable Deaths
Arngrim’s death in Valkyrie Profile. He could have very well kept fighting, but he chose to toss his sword aside and stab himself in the heart than to fight the man who raised him. The scene made me very sad.

Almost as sad as the scene in Star Ocean 2 with the Calnus and the Wise Men’s anti-planetary weapon. The Wise Men are move evil than any RPG villians I have ever come across.
Seeing as how my whole subject was surrounding Final Fantasy Tactics, I didnt think anyone would NEED an explination as to what subject I was “spoiling”. If anyone needs that clarification, I’m sorry for them.

She does, I’m saying DELITA didnt die.

what about kefka, or eve, or magus, or lynx, or spheroth, or bill, or freddy, or jason, or bowser, or all the crap you find in that castle in castlevania, or lawyers, or cubia, voldemort, or qaun chi, or shinnok, or garland, or st ajora, or ultimacia, or nuraku, or darth vader, or kahn, or dark gundam, or the hellspawns in doom, or buu or…

:moogle: SHUTUP FOR THA LOVE OF GOD SHUTUP!

Gaming:

Rachel and Gestahl from FFVI.

Aeris from FFVII.

Odessa, Gremio, Pahn and Teo from Suikoden (By far the most touching deaths in the gaming world are from the Suikoden series).

Anabelle and Jowy from Suikoden II (Gremio, Pahn and Jowy don’t necessarily die depending on how you play).

Anime:

Tima from Metropolis

Misato from Evangelion

Whew, that’s a lot of spoiler tags.

The death of my mind after playing SH2 and thinking about all the stuff in it over and over and over and over x.x;

Excuse me? I didn’t find those things very touching or memorable. What right do you have to say my opinions are not valid? I thought the scenes I mentioned were touching, because I really felt for the characters in question. And most of the death scenes in Final Fantasy just didn’t do anything for me.

Maybe it pains you to hear it from someone, but Sephiroth was not a very evil villian. Have you ever played Star Ocean 2? Have you ever seen what the Wise Men do in the game? Have you seen the scene in question? Or have you played Xenogears and got to the scenes with Bishop Stone? Did you understand the story of Wild ARMs 2 to the point that you know who the real villian was? Have you gotten the good ending in Valkyrie Profile and seen the absolutely stunning final battle? It makes Final Fantasy 7 look like a pile of puke.

I’m going to toss aside my kind and gentle facade here and say this: Shut the fuck up. I have nothing against you, and I’ve ignored your endless polling topics and mindless, incredibly hard to read posts since the day you got here, so as not to start an incident. But when you start blasting other people’s opinions like that, then I have no reason to make you feel welcome here anymore.

Dalton, I think what the idiot was trying to say was that he thought that the Wise Men, were not the most evil villians he had ever come across. Which you mentioned in your second paragraph.
The foolish moron, just went about it in a very idiotic way.

Not that I’m trying to support the guy, or anything.

As for memorable deaths, I thought that Mareg’s death from Grandia 2 was quite memorable.

Technically, he didn’t quite die, he Returned to his rightful state of death, which he never wanted to be ripped form in the first place. But yes, he was the coolest villain I’ve ever said. And Cait, don’t say anything.

Balgus, I think his name is, actually. And yes, he was so badass, I was so sad when he died.

But the most memorable and emotional death I’ve ever seen is Mr. Chippings, form “Goodbye, Mr. Chips”. Anyone who has watched this movie would know what I mean.

Ohh thanks for reminding me Dalton of Wild Arms. Mother was truly an evil villian she just destroyed for the “beauty” of distruction and she was going to destroy the people who revived her

Mine will be.

:kissy:

Quint in Jaws.

Dalton, I heart you very much.

Dalton a sploded… that was frightening… I better not make silly posts >_<
