Max Payne 2 comes out today!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!:hyperven: :hyperven: :hyperven:

I’m excited can’t you tell? I really enjoyed the first one and it seems that the second one is going to be as great if not greater. Rockstar managed to pull off two great games with GTA3 and GTA:VC so I think they can make Max Payne 2 really great as well  eehehehehehehehe.

weird, I havent ehard a wordabout it, and the first one was quite popular here in Denmark…

Does it come out today cool. . Ill have to check it out.

Max Payne was the shit, lets hope the 2nd one is as good if not better than the first

Uhh, it was still made by Remedy. Rockstar’s probably just the publisher.

…Too bad Remedy didn’t pull off their “Finland First” strategy like last time >_>;

if it can reach half the level in intesitivity like in the first then it’ll be a blast…

I have the first one, and I can BARELY run it at full everything on this computer, so I doubt very highly that I can run Max Payne 2 on even the lowest of settings.

You can go to www.rockstargames.com to get the specs for the game. I went to Wal Mart and Staples yesterday but they didn’t have it in yet. Now I’ve got to wait for the next time I can get a ride into town.

I got the game and it fucking rocks =)

Although short it’s still worth it. The game runs on the new Havok 2.0 engine (which is what Half-Life 2 will run on) and it simply looks wonderful ^^ The story is even darker and deeper than the first and as far as action goes, plenty of it! You can also consider this game as a test to see if your comp runs the havok engine well (as a prelude to HL2). For anyone who’s seen the HL2 videos know what I mean when I say that what the Havok engine provides is purely awesome: anything can be moved around, human articulation and so on and so forth…

In any case, try it out if you have a powerful enough Comp and Vid Card.

My Comp Specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128 Dual
512 DDR Ram
120 gig HDD 7200rpm 8M cache

With those specs, the game runs real fast and smooth ^^

My comp runs it like the sweet ass mofo it is. It’s incredible. I’ve never seen anything that looked so good. The ragdoll is the most fun thing ever, and the best too. Get it. Now.

Drak, or anyone else who has already got the game, how does it compare to the first one?

story-wise, first one was better… but graphix-wise, second is mucho better =)

Good nuff? :stuck_out_tongue:

That game was so awesome! I loved the graphic novel cause it was different than what anyone else had done before.

It was short which kinda sucked. But I heard this one was supposed to be alot better. crosses fingers

Oh wow. Go to gamespot.com and follow the links to get the mp3 of the theme song to the game, it’s great. That and having the mp3 will make it easier to listen too.

Hmm… I would rather have a better storyline than better graphics, but if its still good then I guess I will live. I will have to check it out this week.

The story is still good in Max Payne 2… it continues and finishes the storyline from the first max payne.

I love Max Payne 2.
