what number is missing?
1
9
7
15?

this is a sequence by the way, not a mutliplication thing.

Which one is a prime number?

Obviously, the answer is one.

I’d aim higher.

Either one or seven, both considered prime.

1 isn’t prime. It only has 1 factor.

wrong. after seeing how this goes. it cant be one
one isnt a prime number its a special number. but there is a prime number there too

thanks all

A prime number has exactly two whole factors (not two or less).

Pshf, whatever. I still win.

You just got served, bitch.

You lose.

Cala, you know I win. Don’t deny it. I win, you semi-win.

1 has 2 factors, 1, and 1.

No, it doesn’t. The purpose of a prime number is such that every positive integer can be rewritten as a product of smaller, prime numbers. Dividing 7 by 1 doesn’t tell us anything, but dividing 7 by 7 tells us something. The only thing you can divide 1 by, is 1.

No, as you can only count each number as one factor, so there is only one. The answer is seven.

Must’ve been a mistake on my teachers part, as she said 1 is a prime number. Not my fault. I still win. >.>

Your teacher is a fucking idiot, then. My 3rd grade math teacher taught me about 1. Christ.

You don’t, you fail. At life. For thinking you win.

Well, maybe it was on my part. I really thought 1 was a prime number. Yeah, all laugh at me. =(

Actually, I didn’t really mean it. I just wanted to say “You fail at life” to someone. You just happened to be the nearest target.

Nearest? Where do you live, I can debate you’re not the nearest.

By nearest, I actually meant person who I first got the chance to say it to. It was a metaphor. Well, actually it was a lie, but metaphor sounds better.
And I live in Ireland. Just look in my mini-profile thing at the side.
