Match Game RPGC

The one thing I do is keep backups. Although admittedly it’s not the old site.

The responses for the app question are not RPG related. In game the questions (though possibly not the answers) will be.

We had basic cable for a while, and one of the few things that came in was Game Show Network. Needless to say, I’ve watched a lot of Match Game.

I wouldn’t mind taking center square. Or a corner square. Heee.

Oh, I’m psyched about this - I think I was supposed to play way back, when we did games more often!

You mean when I used to attempt games more often?

Keep the apps up. I still haven’t gotten an app for co-host.

Hey now… I was trying to be diplomatic about it.

It’s good to see RPGC Games making a comeback.

God, I’d love to play this. Matchgame was one of my favorite shows for the longest time, back when i still watched television. I’m sending my app in later today, when I have the time.

It’s lonely over here, guys. Here’s the apps I’ve gotten so far:

Epic Gamer
StarStorm
Xelopheris
Rountree (who is the only person to apply so far that played last time that I know of)
Pierson
Skankin’ Garbage
BahamutXero
Teran_Wanderer
VickiMints
984

Here’s the people who’ve shown obvious interest from whom I’ve not yet gotten apps (that I can remember…):

Valkyrie Esker
Cait Sith

So keep sending apps, guys. We’ve finally passed the magic 11 point, so I’ll have to actually make choices… O_o

984 should co-host.

is it to late for me to join? this really sounds interesting. :moogle:

Send in an app. And if no one wants to be co-host, then I’ll just host both segments. The only advantage of having a cohost is that I’d get to sit on the panel for the second (hollywood squares) segment of the game.

And now, enjoy the theme to the show. clicka clicka

I recongnize that theme! It was used when they were showing cars on Card Sharks and the Price is Right.

Very good! When MGHS Hour went off the air after it’s short 8-month or so stint, MG Productions (Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions, the company that makes most of the game shows from the 70’s and 80’s) didn’t want to just retire it, so they continued to use it on the Bob Eubanks run of Card Sharks, and use it to this day on The Price is Right, both as car themes. Good ear!

And in case you’re curious, here’s a site where you can hear the opening of the first episode, to get a rare chance to hear that music in use as something other than to introduce “a new car.” http://www.geocities.com/jmadindian/mghs1.html

So… I’m guessing you’re really good at Trivial Pursuit.

Surprisingly bad, actually. But I can hold my own at most Jeopardy home games, You Don’t Know Jack, or the Joker’s Wild home game.

I know more than the people on Jeopordy do. It’s really funny the way that someone my age can outsmart an adult that can make onto Jeopardy.

I wonder if they have an RPG Trivial Pursuit…

You may know more than some of the contestants, but the entrance exam would likely kick your ass. It’s about 10x harder than most of the stuff they show on TV. Also it’s a lot harder when you’re under the lights of the stage, though Ken Jennings didn’t do a real good job of showing it.
