He’s referring to the fact that SF4 is rendered with 3D visuals rather than traditional sprites.
Yeah I have to agree with GSG… the Street Fighter series itself had been extremely successful over the many years with simple 2D graphics and in a way it kind of made it unique in comparison to other games of that genre. It didn’t 3d or any special effects to grab peoples attention and generate money! The shear magnitude of the game-play and the enjoyment was what made it so great and a classic to date. Although Street Fighter 4 does look decent (graphics and all) it steers away from the legacy the series has forged over the years.
That’s just the way I see it!
