you can kill him in the ending sequence but that depends on how you played the game
I might add that there is one person that you’re sorta not allowed to kill. The game suggests you revert to your last save if you do.
I’m pissed off that you can’t pickpocket things that people have equipped. It’d be fun to walk up to a baddie and rip off his armor before stabilating him.
In Morrowind, you could steal anything from a corpse
Including their pants.
