Let's play a game

<a href=“http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/”>CSS Validator</a>
<a href=“http://validator.w3.org/”>HTML Validator</a>

Let’s find out how many places that are popular at all actually use valid CSS, HTML, etcetera.
I get the easy ones.
<a href=“http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fagora.rpgclassics.com%2Fforumdisplay.php%3Ff%3D2”>Forums</a>
<a href=“http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fagora.rpgclassics.com%2Fnewthread.php%3Fdo%3Dnewthread%26f%3D2”>Forums HTML</a>
<a href=“http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Frpgclassics.com%2F”>Main Page CSS</a>
<a href=“http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Frpgclassics.com%2F”>Main Page HTML</a>

Oh shit 107 errors don’t tell wertigon :x

Bonus!
<a href=“http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.somethingawful.com%2F”>SA Frontpage CSS</a>
<a href=“http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.somethingawful.com%2F”>SA Frontpage HTML</a>
79 errors. Fail’d.

Google.ca fails

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.google.ca
But has two less errors than google.com

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.google.com

Psah, you say this as if Wertigon is still alive, and we had not drugged TD and lead him on to assassinate Wert in a moment of madness.

…err…

I mean, gee golly, I wonder where our good friend and code enthousiast Wertigon is.

I don’t get the game :frowning:

What kind of “errors” are these, and why does anyone care given that the given web pages, y’know, work the way they’re apperently supposed to?

They’re not errors as much as faults. It’s like cars, they can have faults and still work, but they’re much more likely to break sometime in the future.

Indeed it does. But for some reason, everyone’s there. Weird. I’m lost.

The worst ones are the microsoft pages. They have SO many errors. Dear god.
