The difference between this and the McDonalds coffee case is that no one will pity Pearson for his lost pants.
The difference is that the McDonald’s lady was suing a multi-billion dollar corporation. This guy was suing a pair of poor immigrant South Koreans.
The tragedy is that the multi-billion dollar corporations will most likely somehow exploit this case into showing the “flaws” of civil suits.
Hurray for common sense triumphing over assholes!
