Let’s just say there was a long period of 4.5 years, where nothing really happened.
>1)Why is O-ren working for Bill even though he killed her parents…?
She didn’t know. It’s real good irony, so good that Tarantino doesn’t even have to tell the audience, just openly suggest it (his rings are the giveaway). If you notice she’s under the bed, so I doubt she’d have seen any of her assailants, only knowing the Boss responsible because he’s in charge. Plus she was like what, eight, so she probably wouldn’t have grown up to recognize him.
>2)If Budd was so guilty, why did he bury Beatrix alive? The only hint in the movie before he does so, that tells us why he went and did everything against he said to Bill, were the words “we deserve to die, but then again so does she.” Am I right? That was the only indication that he planned to kill her when he came for her? Because it was odd that they portrayed him in a sympathetic light, and then he just does that.
Budd is a very existential character. He more than any of the rest of them recognizes that no matter their interpersonal disputes, they’re all murderers and assassins who by the normal rules of society don’t deserve to stick around. The reason why he buries her is quite interesting though, more than just the money he’s promised by Elle Driver. He says, “this is for breaking my brother’s heart,” and it introduces the theme developed for much of the rest of the story that Uma Thurman is not purely the innocent victim here, that she in turn may be deserving of some responsibility herself. Plus it’s part of Budd’s redemption, he goes from a sadsack who is self-hating and feuding with his brother to one who shows some fraternal affection and, still hasn’t abadoned his “swordplay”.
>3)Is there some way to find information that pertained to Beatrix’s relationship with the other team members? Excluding she and Elle Driver, since we know that they didn’t like each other to begin with.
For me, I think she and O-Ren were almost friends prior to the incident. The way she and her make eye contact and exchange dialogue during their final swordfight suggests to me that they used to know each other a little. Obviously she did not get along with Elle at all (they probably even contested for Bill’s affection strongly, although Bill is above-all a charmer with every girl character in the story), and her relationships with the other two of DVAS was likely just cordial.
>4)Are there REALLY people like Pai Mei in the world? I don’t mean stand-on-a-sword impressive (right) but I mean like extremely bad ass martial artists that have dedicated themselves to that sort of lifestyle? I can’t find any real life information about the man that Pai Mei is based on, all I can find are his movies…
Pai Mei is just a conglomeration of “sensei stereotypes” that Tarantino infuses with some personality and character development, a melding of old 60s and 70s stereotypes that turn out stronger than what it’s imitating. I’m sure there are highly proficient martial artists out there, but I bet most of them are already working in Hollywood anyway
>Is there a point to bleeping her name?
It’s partially a reference to Sergio Leone westerns or similar samurai/martial arts films where the protagonist symbolically and literally travels without a name, at least not one known by the audience. The most famous is probably Clint Eastwood’s character from the “Man With No Name” trilogy. It’s also just sort of for slight comedic appeal, and maybe just so Tarantino can dress Uma up in kids’ clothes and put her in an elementary school
Merlin, you the man…
I’m just hopelessly addicted to Kill Bill’s brilliance. Volume 2 better be nominated for Best Picture and Uma better win for Best Actress or I may boycott the Oscars.
Heartily seconded.
Ugh, I disliked Kill Bill Vol.2… not enough killing action.

I’m almost certain this is who Pai Mei is base off of. The white haired puglist pops up in tons of kung fu movies.
The only question I have, is why did Bud lie about selling his Hanzo sword?
The only person she did actually kill in Vol.2, was Bill
But that sort of made it fitting, really.
There is a guy in northern Ontario who teaches wing chun or wushu or something. There was an interview in the Toronto Star shortly after Kill Bill came out.
What about Elle? Thought she killed her?
Its assumed that she died by the way she was freaking out. I think she did.
Mostly just to piss off his brother, something obviously came up between them that caused a significant falling out and for Budd to abandon being a professional killer. Seeing that sword in the back of his trailer was one of the coolest moments of the whole Kill Bill for me.
The Bride only blinds Elle. She’s still thrasing around, and in fact during a portion of the credits when her credit comes up, a ‘?’ goes over the name as opposed to the other assassins, who all get 'X’s drawn through theirs (except for Uma of course). So she may or she may not be deceased.
It is a safe bet that she did end up dead. But at the hands of the black momba snake that was still inside the trailer. And not by Black Momba, the assassin.
