Basically the title says it all.

So to the readers of this thread qualified to answer this question. (all five of you) Is FFT’s new script worth a PSP?

I dunno. It depends what the new script is like. I’d buy it for the cool new cutscenes.

The PSP isn’t worth it in my opinion. Its too expensive for a couple games, no matter how frustrating it is since those games are so good.

To me there are just enough games out, and on the way to warrant a PSP purchase. I still want to get those Metal Gear Solid games (not Ac!d).

This is a port with improved translation, cutscenes and VO’s, right? They’re not “overhauling the graphics” are they? Last I knew it was still sprites…

Graphics are the same besides the cutscenes. But the PSP is looking better and better. Some games I’m interested in:
FFT: Lion War
Jeanne d’Arc
FF7 Crisis Core
FF: Dissidia
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Star Ocean 1 and 2
Disgaea

That sounds pretty decent. And you can play it on your TV, too, though I’ve heard conflicting reports about how well that works.
