just today i fished one of these critters out of my pool. its not the first time but i still and always will find them the most disgusting and creepiest thing on earth.

No, I have never seen potato bugs beforehand, since they do not inhabit the Lower Mainland of British Columbia as far as I am aware.
I thought that potato bugs were small grey insects with round shells and many little legs, though.
Jeez, actual size??? I thought potato bugs were about the size of a ladybug! O_O
