I could get any multiplayer game that’s out for PC now. Sure it would be illegal, but so is downloading SNES and NES games that you don’t currently own. I can download any game you want and spread the files around along with Daemon Toolz which is a program that allows you to emulate a CD drive for all of you who don’t have a CD burner(or just don’t feel like burning a game to a CD).

So if anybody is interested in getting multiplayer started with a game that isn’t Q2 or RO, give me your suggestions.

Also, there’s quite a difference between downloading games from 10 years back and games where companies still make money on. As for Quake 2, the source code was released to the public, so it is essentially free and legal to distribute.

It’s pretty much a violation of the ROM requests rule, unlike Q2 or RO.

Well people obviously want UT2K3 so i’m currently downloading it. If you don’t want to be apart of the illegalness then that’s fine I will send the files to those who do
