One wish? Uhh, I usually use my first for Blessed rustproof greased +2 gray/silver dragon scale mail, depending on my class.
The thing I’d want most to wish for is one that would become somewhat meaningless if not given freely. Not suffering from depression would fit in a nice backup choice though.

Well it depends on what are the restrictions and boundaries. If it was to wish for something to own, I’d say the Crystals from FFV. I dunno, that would just seem cool. Especially if I have the Dancer and Bard ones, then I’d actually be a decent singer/musician and could dance to save my life.
Superpowers, I’d definitely want indestructibility. Not immortality, but the ability to no feel anythign whenever I don’t want to.

If it’s from a wand then maybe 2 blessed scrolls of charging so as to get 4 more wishes.

Because you only have a 60% chance of getting a +3, and taking risks all the time is the way to a quick death. Greased armor is to protect against grabbing attacks, and it’s not from a wand because the thread is: ONE wish.
