Placed my resumé today in four place, in the local shopping center.
A pet shop, a library, Croissant Plus, and EBGames.
Might go to the other side of the city tommorow and resume my hunting. For now, I’m tired.

You lazy sloth. Last time I sent my resumés to companies I had almost 200 letters sent in a single day and I could have done more with no problem if there were more companies.

… you liar?

And only 2 of those listed place actually looked for new recruit.
EBGames was full till November. (~_~) and very low probabilty on the pet shop D|

I’m dead serious.

I have a .doc file with the address database for one of my last year job hunts if you wanna see it. I got 109 bank agencies marked in it. I sent a resumé to each one. Unfortunately, I wanted a 3-month job because I would start having classes from morning to early night after that period, and by the time they started answering my letters I could not get a temporary job anymore.

Yeah well, I had to walk and distribute my copies by hand. >:o

It’s not an excuse for going only to four places and being tired for it. You could have distributed copies of your resumé throughout a whole mall.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> And this is exactly the reason why you’re in this predicament, Booken. Make an effort.

Few are the places that put out help wanted signs. Walk in, ask if they’re hiring. Some places are always hiring.

Good luck to you Booken. Just keep trying and check the wanted ads in the paper. Plus if your paper has a web address check out that. All else fails you could work at a warehouse, they’re almost always hiring.

Swallow your pride and go to McDonald’s or some similar place. The majority of the time, fast food is your best option.

Best of luck to you.

Good luck in your job hunting. You should probably try places that aren’t even advertising for staff at the moment and leave your resume with them. That way, you look enthusiastic about it, and there’s always a chance that they will hiring in the near future. It can’t exactly do any harm.

Yeah Angel, that what I’m doing to place of high interest, like EBGames and Pet Shops.

Ryuujin, thats a good advice, and I wouldn’t mind applying to fast food restaurants. Heck, I even did. But my pride have his limits…
Most of those wanted sign where on clothing shops. I mean, even if I’d get hired, with my lack of interest, and thus come my lack of attention, I fear to be quickly fired. That why I avoid clothing shops if I can >>;
Finding a job that touch your interests can actually help you keep your job >

With that attitude, you’d be the suckiest salesperson to ever suck selling something sucky.

Then your pride is going to get you kicked out of your house. You can either go do something that you might consider beneath you, or you can sleep on the street as you said. Your choice.

Your pride has its limits? I’m sorry, but there’s more stuff to be proud about to have a job at all rather than being a leech on society.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Booken is blinded by his Merch pride.

What they said. After graduating from grammar school, the first job I got involved putting calenders in boxes and loading them into the back of a truck. So what if any moron can do it, a job’s a job, and money’s money, dude.

Fuck, Booken.
My mom’s old coworker makes more at McDonalds than she ever did at the hospital. sure, she doesn’t get the best insurance like at the hospital, but it’s still good pay.
Speaking of which, why not try to get a job as a housekeeper or in distribution at a hospital? It’s gruntwork, but you get good pay.
