We had to sign permission slips to see our own president. I think the worst part is that some parents didn’t even let their kids see it. And then it was just a speech about how we should stay in school and there is no easy way to success.
If you haven’t guessed I am talking about Obama’s speech to all the schools (ALL OF THEM).
Well, according to some Republicans, Obama’s going to destroy the country with death panels because he’s a communist socialist Nazi who’s not even a real American because he doesn’t have a valid birth certificate. Would you want your kids to listen to a man like that?
Instead, listen to Glenn Beck. He can spell OLIGARHY right and doesn’t afraid of anything. The only thing that troubles me is that while there is no evidence regarding the allegation that that he raped and murdered a girl in 1990, he is not releasing his records to clearly prove that he didn’t? The public deserve to know.
I’m counting only the people he’s basically personally killed with drone missile strikes. Those aren’t even soldiers killing people for him, that’s basically him firing a really long range gun.
I believe the theory would be that because he does not call off the strikes, which he’s allowed to as Commander-in-Chief, Obama is personally responsible for the strikes continuing.
It’s true. Hitler is the bright-line test of what makes a good man. If you’re better than Hitler, you’re a good person. If you’re equal to or worse than Hitler, you’re a bad person. Therefore, if we looked at a spectrum of bad people only, judging them from being Satan-esque to Hitler-esque (that is, really bad to comparatively less bad) we can find that Hitler, in fact, is a relatively good person. So long as we compare him only to other people who are as bad or worse than him.
Satan is by definition the ultimate evil in the world, in Christian theology. He was the one to originally rebel against God. This is apparently worse than genocide or kitten raping.
Normally, as a pretty strong christian I would debate the inherent problem in one of God’s own creations and servants believing he should be considered God’s equal. But as this is an internet forum, I already know there is no argument I could put forth in the least that will be considered acceptable. So instead, I’ll just go with the less-explained path and simply say “Yes, Satan is the ultimate evil”.
The biggest two that come to mind are rebelling against the Lord, intending to place himself first on the same level, and then supplanting God; and either becoming the Serpent or sending him, depending on one’s interpretation, to tempt Eve and through her Adam into breaking the one rule that the Lord placed upon them to remain in paradise.
Honestly, I really don’t want to get into a debate about whether or not Satan’s evil for fighting God because God’s a big mean doodyhead. Partly because religious debates on internet message boards are so passe, and partly because I’m fairly sure I’d be the only person really trying to defend my faith. I’ve probably already said too much as is.
