Well, not really. But I’m thinking about making a habit of working out. I’m always tired and unmotivated. I need to be light and strong, and SERJYNG WITH YNIRJY!!!
So like uh, what would be a good daily workout that would actually produce results? I need tips, plz. And I want suggestions I can do at home, not at some fancy gym that I can’t afford.
My goal is to get to a point where I’m not perpetually tired and lazy.
This has nothing to do with biceps, but sit ups are quite effective in toning your stomach. I got results within one week and a nice flat stomach ensued ^.~ I suppose I should stop being so lazy and start doing them again. But sit ups work well. Do 20 every night and work your way up.
Try joining a good dojo. It should give you an at least semi-well rounded workout and some psychological motivation to do stuff. And it’ll make you think you’re 1337.
I do karate Mon/Wed/Sat for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, and before each class I work with a 20 lb medicine ball for about 30 minutes. That’ll help. As for stretching, similar to Cro’s but no curls and about 20 push ups. I’d explain more of our stretches but I don’t have the words.
What I do at home that costs me about $70 initially, but has beena big help in the long run is I got a nice pair of running shoes and put a pull-up bar in my room. What I’ll do is run at night, usually 3 to 4 miles, and then do pull-ups throughout the day; 10 here, 10 there. Then if I’m watching TV and a commerical comes on, I’ll do push-ups or crunches. I usually don’t set any numbers to how many I do of anything, I just do it to the max. Such as I’ll do pull-ups until I can’t get another one, or push-ups until I can’t get another one. This routine has raised my PFT (Physical Ftiness Test) score 41 points out of a possible 300. However, without buying anything, the push-ups and crunches are the easiest and seem to be fiarly effective. I wouldn’t suggest the running without running shoes since it is harder and hurts your feet more. A pull-up bar is only $10, so you can get one of thsoe pretty easily. Also, just walkign at a brisker pace helps a lot. Green Mage should answer this sicne he is pretty fit, perhaps even mroe so than me.
This man right here has the right idea. No 20 situps a night and work your way up will do much. It’s a start but you really need to smoke yourself. At Ft. Benning we did the Gruesome “Sixsome” which was 40-50 situps, 40-50 Rocky situps, 25-30 left obliques, then 25-30 right obliques, 40 toe touchers, and then 50-60 crunches. That’ll make your abs cock-diesel. As far as biceps go…all I can say is curl, curl, curl until you can curl no more. Pushups and benchpressing work the chest real well. Run like a motherfucker and build your pace up to increase endurance. We infantrymen gotta run, so we run hard. Other recommended exercises are pull-ups, chin-ups, forearm curls, and squats. Take it from Info and I, given the fact he’s a Marine and I’m Army Infantry.
I have tried to get into an exercise routine, but I can never be bothered to keep it going. Maybe I should try again, I would like to be in better shape.
When you think about it…50 lbs isn’t that much…try 70 or 80. That’s my highest so far. All you gotta do is condition yourself to a certain weight and build yourself up from that comfortable weight setting.
If working out seems too much like a chore and you have trouble getting yourself to actually do it, I would suggest taking up a sport, you’ll get a lot less well rounded workout (unless it’s organized and you’re being coached) but it’s a lot easier to actually do.
There’s no point in killing yourself in the process. Hades obviously doesn’t know what he’s doing, and to just push himself the first time will only hurt him. Yeah, a little pain helps but overloading on the training is just dumb. he said he wants to work out, not defend his country.
