Because I do whatever I want. Here:
The first one is my normal midi synth, the second one is a super awesome synth. I still put up the first one cos I think the dynamic control is better. Might do more, we’ll see.

(Psst, you’re missing a ‘g’ in the URL)
Nice choice for a BGM, Nitro Man’s theme keeps getting a lot of attention but I really like Sheep Man’s theme a lot. Anyway, sounds good. I like the second one.
Nice. You’re always the RPGC Music Meister, SG. Thanks.
Hey, that’s good, SG.
Thanks, guys.
I decided to do at least a second one. I picked Blade Man, because that seems to be unanimously the least favorite track from the game based on message board discussion. I’m actually a big fan of the composer of that track, but her stuff relies a lot on texturing…like, having one melodic line played by several instruments. So, I’m not surprised that a track boiled down to three instruments and a drum track is underwhelming.
So far, I have up through the “march” section transcribed. I transcribe the pitched instruments first, then do the percussion last (probably cos the percussion stuff comes really easy to me).
I got to the very end of the piece and recorded them as MP3s, only to realize that I had some wrong notes. So, I shelved the project for like a week. But, now I finally finished it.
I pressed play for the third time. That initial hook is catchy.
edit: I got it, later on the track reminds me of Romancing Saga 3. That’s why I like it. Not too crazy about the march though.
