I wonder if there are problems with conflicting frequencies. Like, your microwave and mp3 charger both resonate at 10 mhz, so when you turn on the microwave, the electrical current fries your mp3 player.

Actually, Tesla DID build a device for charging stuff up without wires. Only his one was much cooler than this new one. Behold, the Tesla coil.
