I r teh bakz0rz, 'cause Band Camp is OVER! YAY!

No more camp! I can come back to RPGC now…sorta…

Ok, I’m still bumming off my roomies cpu, but he’s rarely here to use it, and it’s so uber-fast, so I’ll hang around a bit more often since then. That and my computer’s about to come in as well. Hoorj!

Oh, MAN, Band Camp was fucking awesome. The number of rookies we had were TWICE the size of my old high school band. I met so many damn people all at once, it’s great. My personal “superior” is named Spiderman (and I’m Batman :D) I tell you, it’s nice going to somewhere new where no one knows you and you know nobody; starting from scratch. I walk around the dorms, university, street, and no one looks at me like a piece of shit and talks behind my back, it’s so fucking GREAT!

That, and ohhhhhh damn at the females we have 'round HERE! But that’s another topic >: )

Our show is so uber-goot, jah. Our theme is “A night at the Opera” We open up with the Phantom of the Opera theme, then tie RIGHT into Bohemian Rhapsody. After that it’s Paracelli or something other and then Nessun Dorma. Oh, and did I mention how fucking LOUD it gets? WHOOOOO YEAH IT’S FUCKING LOUD!!!

Then there was the day in camp where the marching veterans came back. We were all in the practice center where the whole band sets up and everyone was hugging eachother greeting old friends n’shit, when the 20-J’s (We have an official name to our kick-ass Tuba line, it’s like an 'in-band fraterity almost) kicked up the bass line to this once song the band always plays “Quilting Party”, then all the vets starting singing at the top of their voices, then the whole trumpet, mellophone line kicked in, and HOLY SHIT IT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!111111111111ONE (Quilting Party: Think slightly fast upbeat swing)

Oh, I freaked out big time when I heard about the death tolls overseas 'cause of the heat wave. I tried like hell to find a computer in the dorms with a net connection and none of them had been set up. Is everyone alright?

And now all those fucking long hours are OVAHHH! It was fun and all, but not to be bitter but God Damn! I had to drink two quarts of Powerade to keep going for the first five days. Under an hour.

So I’m REALLY excited to be here, and I’m REALLY excited to be back here, and I’m REALLy excited and now I have to go before I piss myself in excitment.

Oh, and btw, Hi I’m back

It’s Kagato, yay!

Nice to see you had a killer time at Band Camp.

BTW, you have to e-mail Cid to get on the FE2 waiting list with me.

Good, now get back to work Stuart.

That’s not possible. Marching band isn’t an activity, it’s a lifestyle. I went to my Senior Prom with a girl from marching band. On the limo ride back home all she did was talk about band with another bando. They watch video’s of college marching band performances for fun. Sure there’s nothing wrong with that, but that’s all they do for fun (cause the rest of the time they’re practicing or performing).

Now, this is unhealthy for me, but to let ya’ll know, our XC team’s unofficial motto is “We’re better than marching band”.

To answer your question, there was a ‘heat wave’ in France (I don’t consider 105 degrees F for a couple of days to be a heat wave, but that just me) and a bunch of people died. It seems the French even surrendered to the heat, go figure. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s possible; I was in band and many of my friends now were in band and we don’t just talk about band all the time. We didn’t then either.

I’m not a band geek.

I’m a band ph43k!!!1

And I play the University’s Bari Sax, called the “Grey Ghost”. One, 'cause it’s old, two 'cause it’s an odd shade of metallic grey. It flat out kicks ass.

And I’ll get back to you on the FE2 thing, XCG.

Oh, and we started band camp last monday, it’s just a two week thing, but it takes up a LOT of your day.

How long were you gone for?

Sounds cool. Hey btw, this one time at band camp, a bear came and we had to shoot it which meant we killed it and it died!!!:moogle:
