I’ve never really been able to get into the SaGa series, after being brought up on games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior. I own Final Fantasy Legend 3 and SaGa Frontier 1 + 2 for PSX. I just don’t really like how your stats go up and all that stuff. I’ve been thinking of playing SaGa Frontier again, though to try to get into it finally.
That’s cool. It takes time, but they’re certainly fun after a while. If you need any help or anything, don’t hesitate to ask.
I have a question. In SaGa Frontier 2, how do you get back WP? I am at the beginning in Gustave’s scenario, the first one that involves fighting. I am going to save Flynn, and I decided to build up for a while, but I am running out of WP. Can you help?
Some people slowly regenerate WP, some don’t. I’m pretty sure Gustave does, but not Kelvin. The way to regenerate LP is to use less in a turn than you regain, so try using your weakest attacks for a little while.
I thought LP couldn’t be restored unless you use a Soul Crystal, or whatever?
He probably made a typo. When Skanking said LP, he probably meant "WP. All characters have a WP and SP recovery rate. If the battle goes on another round, they regain WP and SP based on that number. So the idea is to spend less than you can recover when you want to build back up.
One nice way to do this later on is use beast-beast in battle until you have regenerate. Then cast it in battle during easy fights and just defend for the fun of it. This applies to SaGa Frontier 2 of course.

I always loved beast Spells. The Regenerate-Reviva combo r0xx0rz ALL the b0xx0rz.
And then there is stone-stone-beast for guard beast. May not block all attacks all the time, but some blocks is better than none.

Methinks you should play it more. You’ll get used to it. Even if it is a little strange at first, it becomes normal.
Yeah, but don’t forget to put me in your party in SaGa Frontier! Yeah!
