Last night, I was enjoying a few drinks with dear friends. (Okay, I was having my last drink about half an ghour ago…)
I had a GREAT time, but I missed an important tradition in bars: (Damn Vega Bartender didn’t make drinks!) Everytime I go to a bar, I have a new kind of a drink/cocktail.
The first time I had a strawberry marguerita. Excellent, a bit too sweet though.
The second time I ordered a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred. Not bad, but the price was kinda tight.
The last time (before this one) I had a Pina Colada (Superb!!!), but this time, the bar was SUCKADELIC.
So, I need you guys to recommend drinks! My list of try-worthy drinks follows:
Note: Haven’t tried any of these, and I don’t know the contents either, since I’ve only had the drinks I’ve mentioned! Plus, one drink only per bar trip! If you know what they contain, even better! Tell me!

Sex on the Beach

Screaming orgasm’s always good: 3/4 oz Kahlua, 3/4 oz Irish Cream, 3/4 oz Amaretto, 3/4 oz Vodka and ice.
Screwdriver’s very nice, but some people that aren’t used to drinking just can’t handle it: 1 1/2 oz vodka, 4 1/2 oz fresh squeezed orange juice, ice cold, 1 tsp lemon juice and ice.
My favourite, the White Russian: 1 1/2 oz vodka, 1 1/2 oz coffee liqueur, milk or cream.
You can’t forget the classic cosmopolitan either: 3/4 oz vodka, 1/2 oz triple sec, 1 oz cranberry juice, 1/2 oz lime juice.
And last but not least Hurricane Carolyn: 1 shot Malibu, 1 shot Captain Morgan’s, 1 shot light rum, 1 shot orange juice, 1 shot cranberry juice.
If you don’t mind my asking, what are those last ones you listed? (I know what a Bloody Mary is, but besides that, the onl’y one I’ve ever heard of is Sex on Beach.)

Sex on the Beach:
Built Grog glass with ice:
4 cl vodka
2 cl peach licquor
6 cl cranberry juice
6 cl pineapple juice
… and a red cherry on top.
Dennis the Menace:
Built into a Long Drink-glass:
2 cl vodka
2 cl pisang ambon
…and the rest with milk.
Asterix:
Built into an ice-filled grog glass:
2 cl vodka
4 cl Pisang Ambon
… and the rest with Sprite
Oh, and one variation …I’ll have to try this one next time if we go dancing, and I feel like a non-volume drink:

Mixed into a Long drink Glass, filled with Ice.
8 cl lemon juice
8 cl tonic
(The original drink was Atomic Cat, but instead of lemon juice, there was orange juice… and then I remembered a certain citrus AND catgirl loving individual)
Actually, I was drunk when typing the first message on the thread; But this time, I paid attention on what to type >_>;
And carefulness has been increasing since my only overdone time… That 50% absolut sure gets ya! (And on a sidenote, I seem to be immune to hangovers. Yay.)

Heh, I’m flattered. I’m gonna have to try that one myself. Then I’ll be able to say I’ve had an Atomic Catgirl and watch people stare. Of course you can also get those stares if you say you’ve had Sex On The Beach and a Screaming Orgasm.
