I gto a year and a half, about, but I don’t care, really. It doesn’t affect my eating habits much.

Same here, it never affected what I ate.

I had these for 2 years or so. I started with them at age 12 and got them outta my mouth when I was 14.

Now you’ve talked bracers I kinda remember Beavis & Butt-head, the episode when Butt-head connected his bracers to a radio silent laugh

Well never affected how i ate either until the first day it hurt like heck to eat, but sometimes little things get stuck, grr. I mainly just dislike braces since i miss popcorn ;_;

uh maybe they both had braces? i dunno its been so long ;p I thought i remembered seeing beavis with braces at least once.

Congrats Steve! :smiley: Mine came off in September, now I gotta wear retainers at night for, like, 18 months. Bleh. But that’s great. I know how annoying braces are. :slight_smile:

I’m happy for you - I understand that braces are far from the most comfortable thing to wear.

I’ve never had braces, but I could probably stand to have a little bit of straightnening done on my lower front teeth. Thank goodness my top row looks great (especially since my Letterman gap grew together many years ago) and that my smile doesn’t show off my bottom teeth very much.

It seems like everyone has had braces at some time in their life or another!I got mine on when I was 11 and I certainly dont miss them.My teeth hurt for days after I got them on, I could not chew for three-four days when they got put on…same when they got tightened every month…I’ve been wearing a retainer since I was 13…I had to wear them full time for a year but now I just wear em at night.So DONT neglect them, a girl I know had braces and the dentists never gave her a retainer afterwards, so her two front teeth shifted, one in front of the other and now she has them again…and well anyways I only have horror stories to tell, I hated the things shudder but the smile afterwards is well worth it:D

NaNaNa. I’ve never had to wear those; my teeth got adjusted by some studdborn babyteeth. Although. Having to pull all those teeth was quite painfull.

I also should say, if you think having your braces removed were a relief wait till the wisdom teeth come out Steve, if they aren’t already :stuck_out_tongue: Bad bad painful time.

I haven’t had braces although I probably should, my teeth aren’t aligned completely and I hate not being able to completely close my teeth together because of my back ones being out of line.

P.S. Make a big book of british smiles joke and I will stab you brutally in the crotch area repeatedly, with a rusty nail.
