The game would seem like it has successfully brought the job system back, somewhat enchanced, of course. The job system is one of my reasons to give a shot at this one, provided it is released over here early enough so my interest remains high enough… (Blue Mage = Dark Gunner? (or something like that) Blech.)
Sweet. That other woman is Paine someone who joins Yuna’s quest to find Tidus and collect rare spheres and in her beginning job (Knight I think) she has a big Auron like sword. Stupid square, sending Auron; he kicked ass. The job system looks pretty cool, and yea I gotta admit Square’s been playing a little too much Tomb Raider. But as long as it doesn’t massacre the series when I play it it’s cool with me. I’m gonna see what I think about it when I actually play it.
I am going to play it through the first half hour, and then I’m going to write a review with a cynical and satirical plot summary, and then I’m going to actually go into detail about it. Just like I did with Chobits.

For some reason, there is something I find rather disquieting about this game, and the aura/buzz around it thus far.
Eh, its Final Fantasy, I’ll probably end up buying it anyway.
One of the major downside I heard to the game was the music. Aparently Uematsu didn’t have anything to do with it and the concensus is that it sounds fucking weird. That’s all I heard though, except for a couple tidbits of story and gameplay.
As for the chicks, seeing a couple screenshots helps explain why I find the cover even more interesting I guess. Paine is all skin tight black leather, Rikku’s …Rikku and as so many have said so eloquently, Yuna is Lara Croft. So looking at how the cover’s made, I find it interesting.

The thing that worries me is the thought that the actress who plays Yuna in the American version of FFX will play her in X2. I mean, just thinking about that voice even saying “music” makes me feel … ugh …
I hear the 3 chicks are the only playable characters on ffx-2, that doesn’t sound good

No Final Fantasy has had all female main characters since Square became infatuated with pop culture, but it was only a matter of time. Like, cool, man.

Nah, I doubt it…it’d be cool if they did though. I remember back when they planned to remake FFVIII w/ better graphics and whatnot, but never got around to it.
