How long does it take for a new account to be activated by an administrator?

I’ve been waiting over, I think, 2 days now and have yet to receive a notification email…but I’d like to post and stuff, but cannot except for in this forum.

I don’t mind if it takes a few more days (since the admins may be busy and I don’t wish to be a bother), but I’m not aware if the admins are on vacation or something else is going on.

You should have automatically received the email. Maybe a spam filter blocked it?

I received an email, and copied/pasted the link into my browser. I went to where it said to go and a screen came up saying something about waiting until an administrator activates my account, I think. I can’t really remember.

But if I’m supposed to do something, how do I get that email sent back to me? I’ve already deleted it 2 days ago, and my trash empties itself every 24 hours.

Uh, there’s nothing you really can do until one of the admins gets on and ask them to resend the mail or just manually activate your account. But all 3 of them are now at work/class/sleep, so uh, yeah.

I can’t PM anyone though, I don’t think. And even if so, I have no clue who are admins here. So…just…wait until one of them see this topic or happen to go to the admin panel and check on validating members?..or something?

Yeah, just hang tight, I’ll scream obscenities at some of them when I see them, if they don’t see this thread first.

Thanks for the help. It’s very appreciated :slight_smile: I’ll just wait a few more days and check in every once in a while to see if I’ve been activated or not.

Well, I can post in other forums now…but…my post count remains 0…odd…

I want to reach 10 posts or however many needed to change my avatar to a custom one, but cannot.

What’s wrong?

Nevermind. I guess post counts don’t count in the Polling Center.

(I’m guessing it’s ok to triple/double post here since post counts don’t matter, if it’s not ok, let me know)

But…Could someone answer this question for me please? Which forums do the post counts not count in?
