# How Hard is it to Install Ram

Hello, I was wondering how hard is it to install 128 mb of ram in a laptop. I know that I have two slots currently, one with 64 mb of ram, and the other is empty. Thanks.

Normally you don’t have to install anything, all you do is put it in and your computer recognizes it. It should run fine unless if your ram isn’t compatible.

Not difficult at all. You just open the compartment (usually a sqaure box on the bottom of your laptop), squeeze the tabs holding the old ram out, and then stick the new ram in.
