How do you put sprites on a background? Thanks in advance.

No, like they do in webcomics, they get a backgroud picture and put the sprites on top of it… wait, i think I know how to do it now… I just got an idea.

Actually I’d be interested in to how it was done as well, if your idea worked would you be willing to share it. I’ve tried to make small comics before and it’s been horribly frustrating.
Ok, do this-Your sprites are already transparent, right? Ok, then,
1.Open one of the sprites.
2.Do the box thing, make sure it’s on transparent background.
3.Copy.
4.Open up wished background.
5.Make any size of a box with transparent color.
6.Paste, place the sprite where it goes.
7.Save the background with the sprite.
8.1-7 again, until you have all of your sprites on the background. Then do text stuff.
Voila, one small part of a comic!
Jesus, if you have trouble doing easy shit like that, you have no buisness using paint programs.
Dammnit. Either the sprites I’m using aren’t transparent or your method doesn’t work for me. Either way when I try it it doesn’t work.
