Hot Halloween Pics

I drew this head shot of Larva from Vampire Princess Miyu around Halloween of last year. I finally decided to complete the coloring, like, a few minutes ago, which is a very good example of my bad merging of wood crayons and insignificant PS skills. It’s copied from a random picture, of course, because I’ve never watched VPM or read the manga. I know the inside of the hood is white, but for some reason, I decided let it that way, heh.

Those are very cool. Maybe you can add highlights and shading to the hair of the first pic (use the smudge tool to run black in, maybe?)

Crono: I think “Larva” may be a mistranslation of “lover”- at least, that was the rumor when Miyu first came out.

They’re both really nice! However, for Halloween-type pics, they’re kinda “bright”, you know? Though I’m sure that’s due to the hair color in the first picture and not having shading in the second.

Cless: I know I’ll sound stupid by saying that again, but I still don’t know where the smudge tool is. ^^; I have PS 6.0 and 7.0, in English and French, but I’ve never seen anything like that tool. I guess I’m either completely blind or don’t know how to use PS.

Dalton: Yes, they’re bright, but I’d say it’s due to the white background.

I think I commented on those already, but I’ll do it again. The eye is really good in the first one, aswell as the shading, and I like how you make the hair solid except for the few hairs.
And as for Eddie, well… that’s a masterpiece.

For Photoshop 6.0:

If the finger doesn’t appear and it’s a waterdrop or something else instead, right-click it and select the smudge tool from the list that appears.

Heh, I know, Gila. I’m sorry for not posting anything new. I think there needs to be a Chupon smiley next to the Ultros one. :ulty:

Ah well, Cless, that’s because I didn’t know how to use PS. Thanks. However, only my grandfather says “Sacre bleu” here.
