First evening in my apartment in Gävle, my new study place I’ll show you pictures from it once I get my camera, and go back home to scan the pics… after I develope them, which might take two or more years judging from the last film…
Ah well, it’s a neat lil’ one-roomer with a kitchen… but why is the ceiling so high up? Dad barely managed to get the lamps in place, and he almost fell off a chair in the process. That was scary.
Now, what did I forget?
TV remote control
Kitchen knives
Tea bulb… err, lil’ ball to put the tea-leaves in when you’re making a big pot of it. I forgot the dictionary too, otherwise I’d look it up. Yes, yes, online dictionaries, but it’s funnier to figure it out manually or make guesses.
I know there’s more, but that’s what I can think of right now. Tomorrow I’ll go look for a grocery store.
Now everyone lean back and wait for Jing’s catastrophy repo- err, story about her adventures with her apartment.
Cool, this is like, the year of RPGCers moving out, or something.
(Or, at least, the year of RPGCers moving out and making a big fuss about it. Maybe there’s been large numbers of RPGCers moving out on their own in 02 and 03 but they just didn’t do it so high-profile-ish as we all are. Or maybe it’s the same but I’m only paying attention this time around cuz i’m doing it too).
Anyway, yeah, cool, good luck, and yeah, show the pics.
Congradulations on your own apartment. I hope you make it a fine home. However may I suggest you save up for a digital camera if you hate fumbling with film.
Very happy to hear that, Weii. Make that place your comfy little den, you’re going to need it to deal with college life. Now, easy with the late night partying, OK? 8P
