For any on you that have played this, you know that it’s a really fun strategy game. But I’m lost on what to do for one scenario of it. It’s Scenario 7 (“The Gauntlet”) of Roland’s Campaigns(the good guy). It’s a map where you’re supposed to raise an army and take over some castle without any castles to work with, only little towns that you can recruit from. My problem is that you need to cross an ocean/river to get to the enemy castle in the very corner of the map, and I can’t find a boat or a Dimmentional Doorway spell to get across. (picture)
If anyone could help me out, I’d be indebted to you.
(PS. I also need to know in order to write how to do such in the Heroes II shrine. Kudos and thanks included to helpers)
I remember that map but I played as Archibald. In Archies campaign there was a small castle on the same side of the river as you. You used that town do build up your starting army for the next and final map. There should be a town there you can use since the map you’re on ends as soon as you capture that castle on the other side of the map, and that castle is pretty well defended so you will need an army to take it. Look around for a castle bordering that river, you should be able to build a shipyard in it.
Also I would reccomend starting the map over as it is timed if I remember correctly, and you want to grab the castle to start building your army as fast as possible. (Don’t pick up any of the goodies on the road as you run through to the castle.
