I can’t believe I’m hearing something like this in a Pokemon game.
Played the JP version of SoulSilver way back when. Really liked what they did with the majority of the music.

I haven’t played Pokemon since Yellow. There’s a large part of me that can’t play it anymore because of the 5 year old audience it draws. But then there’s a small part of me that remembers how much fun the games were when I did play it and would like to get back up to speed. Maybe someday.
I played the original versions. Other than the music, what else is new in these ones?

How dare 5-yr olds like what I like! Next thing you know some 5 yr-old is going to like something cool like Loony Tunes and then it’ll be too uncool to like anymore. I mean, who the hell watched Loony Tunes when they were 5? That’s like, holy crap, my mind is freaked.
But Looney Tunes get better with age since you “get” more of the humor present in the shorts. Exception: Wile. E. Coyote is accessible to everyone.
I simply cannot muster the willpower to catch up with this franchise. I got all 150 in Red and haven’t touched a Pokemon game since. In retrospect, I don’t think I was that big of a fan…
