I was goin’ through my collection of CDs yesterday and I rediscovered my Hawksley Workman CDs I thought I had lost. So I thought I’d post a rant about how insanely awesome this guy is. He’s a musical genius and an amazing lyricist. He’s the kind of guy who can make a CD and all the songs on it would be awesome, as well as different. While most bands and artists music songs sound similar to each other Hawksley Workman’s songs often sound like they are entirely different bands. Hawksley Workman is a true musician, and if you have heard his music what do you think of it? And if you haven’t I suggest “Jealous of your cigarette”, “We will still need a song” or “Romantacize the automobile”.
